Super cute and kitsch, a pair of cat salt and pepper shakers. These little retro kitty cats are so adorably kitsch. One kitty is playing with a ball of wool and the other is sitting with a hat.

There is no manufacturer or country of origin stamped on the item. I have dated them to be late 1950s or possibly 1960s. There is some crazing on the bodies of the cats that indicates some age. The crazing is there but not obvious, I have done my best to show this in some close up photographs.
Other than the crazing they are in very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, no fading or rubbing out of the painted colors.

Each cat has its own stopper.
