These vintage cookie jars, biscuit barrels are just the cutest. The soft pastel colours are just so pretty.
The are made by Superior Glaze in Japan in the 1960s. Both bases are stamped with the Superior Glaze stamp.

BLUE CANISTER SOLD

The canisters are ceramic and have a basketweave design, with lovely rattan handle.

Both canisters are in excellent condition no chips, cracks or nibbles to the ceramics. The colours are crisp and bright with no losses of colour. The plastic on the blue bamboo handle has been fixed since the photos were taken. The insides of the jars are nice and clean.

Each canister is 14cm tall x 13.5cm wide including the handle hooks.
The opening of the canisters is 10.4cm wide. The inside of the canisters is 11.5cm deep.
