Vintage ceramic brown rearing horse salt and pepper shakers. Both horses are the same, rearing up with the back legs on a green grassy base. One horse is a slightly darker brown than the other.

Both are stamped on the base Japan. Both still have their original cork stoppers.

These ceramic snails are made in Japan and were made circa 1950. The rearing horse shakers are hard to find and both are in very good condition, no chips or cracks. No crazing that I can see. The colours are still bright and crisp.

Measurements:
Both horses are 10.5cm tall x 6.5cm wide across the base and 9cm at the widest point.
