This is a vintage learn to knit and crochet pattern book.

Vintage Patons WoolCraft Book, A Practical Guide to Knitting and Crochet. c. 1960s. Illustrated knitting and crochet instructions including many different stitches and techniques. Patterns for men’s, women’s and children’s items including simple classic knits such as jumpers, cardigans, baby layette, baby blanket, bed jackets and more.

It is a wonderful book that is part of the collection at the Australian Wool Museum.

This book is in good condition. There are some creases and signs of wear on the covers. There are no rips or tears to any of the pages. The book is still bound with the original staples and there are no signs of any of the pages coming loose. A few age spots on a couple of the pages and there has been some scribbling on the inside back cover - looks like someone’s child got to it with a pencil.
