How wonderful and new and unused boxed set from the 1970s.
This is a Casual Ceram Cake Set. A genuine stoneware cake plate and a Sheffield England stainless steel cake lifter. The plate is style number 8007 and the pattern is called ’Galaxy’.

The plate has olive green, gold and brown bands. It’s a typical 1970s colour scheme and a classic vintage piece but would look very at home in a contemporary kitchen.

The cake knife is so good it is like looking into a mirror.

Made in Japan.

The plate and cake lifter are in, as new, excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing.
No marks or damage to the cake lifter.
They are boxed in the their original packaging and would appear to be unused. The box was taped, but I opened it to photograph the items.
The box is in fair condition it is warped around the edges. No rips, tears or marks on the cardboard box. The plastic lid has one split corner and is a little cloudy around the edges. There are signs of the old sticky tape on the base.

The plate is 26.5cm across.
The cake lifter is 24cm long x 4.5cm at its widest.
