This super cutie is a vintage chalkware or ceramic money box, tis a tuba playing brown bear and a green frog sitting on a sheet music book. Hand painted.

Not quite as heavy as other chalkware items I have but doesn’t feel like ceramic and the unpainted base is chalky, so it may or may not be chalkware.

Circa late 1950’s or 1960’s.

In excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damage. Colours are bright and crisp. Still has the original plastic stopper in the base.

Approximately 16cm high and 12cm across the base.
