Absolutely adorable! This Australian pottery donkey is the cutest. Looking adoringly back at the little bird and pulling a cart. Made by KALMAR, this lustreware ornament will win your heart.

Soft, irredescent lustre finish with gilding. KALMAR is incised (although it is faint) on the base. Made in Australia in the 1950’s or 60’s.

Donkey is just waiting for a new home to be loved!

In good condition. There is a small nibble on the back tip of one ear (smaller than 0.5 x 0.5cm sq), shown in the last photograph. There is no other damage - no chips, cracks or crazing. The inside of the cart planter is clean and tidy.
